Off to Oban we go

Note. the phone version of blogger won't let me post photos just now. I will add them when I get on a pc :-)

On to the trip to Oban

Well we spent the morning packing the cars. I think we may have to much stuff.

The drive was uneventful apart from the beautiful Scottish scenery.
We drove through some pretty heavy rain which I think will be a sign of the weather over the next few days.

The sun was shining when we arrived in Oban but by the time we drove through to the ferry terminal it was raining again.

We chose to pick up all our ferry tickets today to save time tomorrow morning as we are on the 10am ferry.

The campsite " Oban caravan and camp site" is really nice and has free WiFi,  woo hoo, just have to sit at reception to get full signal.

The sun returned for us putting up the tents, thankfully there was a breeze so no midges..... Yet!

Sandy had packed us off with some chili which was Brill with some boil in the bag rice, with lemon drizzle cake for pud :-D

The sky is still clear and the temperature is dropping so back on with the warn cloths.

We did pack to much!
So we spent an hour going through all the stuff weeding out what can be left in the car st
